Ready?.... Set?.... GO!

What you need:
2 C all-purpose flour
1/3 C sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
8 Tbl. unsalted butter, frozen
3/4 C blueberries (frozen organic are best because they don't break open as easy, and organic tends to be smaller) you could also substitute, raspberry/ white chocolate, caramel apple.... The possibilities are endless.
1/2 C sour cream
1 large egg

1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbl. Sugar in the raw (normal sugar will work too)

What to do:

*Preheat oven to 400 degrees, with the oven rack in the lower middle position.
*In a medium bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

*Grate butter into flour mixture on the large holes of a box grater; mix the butter into the flour mixture as you go.
*stir in blueberries. Other good fillings would be raisins, chocolate chips, raspberries, raspberries with white chocolate chips, caramel and apples.....get creative with this step.
*In a small bowl, whisk sour cream, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
*Using a fork, stir sour cream mixture into flour mixture.

*Use your hands to press the dough against the bowl into a ball. This will seem hopeless, you will be sure that you did something wrong, and it'll never come together....just keep at it.
*Place on a lightly floured surface and pat into a 7- to 8-inch disc about 3/4-inch thick.

*Sprinkle with sugar in the raw.
*Cut (like a pizza) into 8 triangles
*Place on a cookie sheet, lined with parchment paper, about 1 inch apart. Bake until golden, about 15 to 17 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes and serve warm or at room temperature.

**Note: While trying to get the dough to come together, press it down in the bowl as much as you can, even though it'll seem like there is no way it's going to work just keep at it. It may help to dump it out (onto your floured surface) to get all of it together, just keep pressing it together into the disc shape, and it will work.

ENJOY!
